Alex is incredibly talented and I’m thrilled my fiancé hired Alex to capture our surprise engagement. He was easy going, patient, had creative suggestions, and made us feel very comfortable. He also was open to hearing our ideas, which I really appreciated. The photos came out beautifully. I’d recommend him to anyone!!

Alex and Shannon are absolutely amazing. We took our engagement photos with them and knew we needed to book them for our wedding. They absolutely did not disappoint. They are so professional, they came early, and bent over backwards to make sure we had all the shots we wanted. It was so windy for our first look, and I was so worried but Alex never even flinched, he knew all the perfect angles regardless of the wind. Alex gave us polaroids the night of our wedding from some of our shots that day, and it was the most special gift. You won’t be disappointed with any aspect of Alex Arnold Photography. We will be using him to take photos for years to come!

Alex and his wife Shannon were absolutely amazing! This working duo is phenomenal, and their chemistry as a working couple shines not only in their work, but in each other. He and Shannon were willing to stay longer at our wedding to capture some extra special moments for us, and really worked with me and my wife to make sure we captured the best of our entire weekend filled with family, friends, and a lot of great memories. Their innovative, collaborative, and creative approach to photos make you and yours feel as if you can relive it all over again, holding on to a moment you will certainly treasure for the rest of your lives. Alex and his co-photographer Shannon did an absolutely phenomenal job! The way they took charge and directed us really showed their years of experience and resulted in some amazing photos! But the clear indication of their level of professionalism, skill and ability was fully realized when we got the photos and saw all the authentic images they were able to capture. Like the quick glance between the bride and groom during a speech or a touching moment or the shared laughter between the bridal party. These moments only lasted a couple seconds at max yet are now forever captured thanks to Alex and Shannon and the dedication they put into making sure the wedding would always be remembered.

Alex is beyond amazing! His calm demeanor, flexibility and attentiveness really puts you at ease on your wedding day. The photos we received are breathtaking and everything we envisioned. We asked Alex if we could incorporate two classic cars in our pictures and Alex didn’t blink an eye, he was totally onboard. I was also extremely impressed with his turn around time. He is so fast! We received our pictures promptly and he even printed out Polaroids for us at the end of our wedding day, so sweet! I highly recommend Alex for your wedding day! Not only is the quality of his photography impeccable, but he is also extremely affordable. Thank you Alex!

Alex is an amazing wedding photographer! He made my wife and I feel so comfortable when he did our engagement and wedding. He has a strong knack for telling the story of each couple through his posing, framing, and photographic captures. He was very prompt with getting us our images, and for the level of quality, was very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend Alex to anyone!

Alex did our pre-wedding engagement photos for my fiancée and I. We did them near Folsom powerhouse. His innovative approach, energy, humor, and stellar expertise made this shoot a breeze and super fun to do. Super happy with the shots and the ordering online from his website is easy and user friendly and our family was happy with the photos. Alex is amazing. He and his team are personable, punctual and passionate! His attention to details, the perfect lighting, and capturing candid moments are a few of the things I appreciate most in his work. Alex is also very professional not only in the quality of his work and relations with clients but the quality of the materials he uses. My new husband and I are thrilled we were able to have Alex as our wedding photographer. I also did a boudoir shoot with Alex. He put me at ease and the photos were amazing. We all have things we don't love about our bodies, but Alex is able to capture all the best angles and leave you feeling beautiful when you see the photos. He is truly talented! He is also always open to new ideas and suggestions and very good at working with your vision. So really if you can get Alex Arnold as your photographer you got to do it. He is awesome. Highly recommended!!

Alex made one of the happiest moments of my life possible by helping me plan the perfect surprise engagement for my fiancé at a boutique vineyard in Napa. He is an exceptional photographer and captured all of the perfect moments, bringing out the best of my fiancé and me in the vineyard setting. My fiancé and I love the compositions he created, especially the ones with her engagement ring, wine corks and oak leaves. Finally, Alex is charming and funny, and overall very pleasant to work with.

Best experience with a photographer ever. I’m not one to know what to do during photo sessions but they sure do! They not only capture the best moments but will direct and move things around to capture a beautiful picture. Working with them is so natural, they make you feel so comfortable and are both down to earth. I would definitely work with them again, as well as recommend them to everybody.

Alex was wonderful! He and his co-photographer, Shannon, were a super professional power-duo of photographers that captured every special moment of the day. They were very attentive to our wishes and made our wedding day fun and enjoyable as we took pictures in several different locations prior to our ceremony. They were super friendly yet still extremely focused and dedicated to capturing the perfect shots. They surprised us with some polaroids of some of the best pictures while we were eating our wedding dinner, and then eventually gave us hundreds and hundreds of photos following the wedding. Next time we are looking for a professional (and affordable) photographer, Alex is the first email I'm sending.

Alex is amazing at what he does. He has a great eye and a very artistic style! He knew how to pose us and I didn't have to think (which I prefer!). He is so sweet and so professional and incredibly easy to work with! He is very accommodating and always open to hearing your input and ideas. Alex's turn around time is SO QUICK! The night of the wedding he even magically printed Polaroids for us to take with us! We received a large group of "sneak peak" photos within the first week and have nearly all our images by week 3. I have received so many compliments about our photos and I would 100% recommend using Alex!

Alex and his team worked hard to capture all the perfect shots on our special day. He did a great job herding our many groups of people into coherent group photos. He also felt very much like one of our guests and did not give me or my bride any feeling of estrangement or unfamiliarity. His artistic touch on our photos, with regard to lighting, angle, or backdrop, have certainly played a large part in making our wedding photos unforgettable. Thank you, Alex!

Alex and Shannon (Alex Arnold Photography) did an amazing job capturing the happiest moments of my wedding day. They arrived early and caught details on film, such as myself and partner and bridal party getting ready, dresses, rings, shoes, flowers, etc. They didn't miss a beat! They made the whole experience as stress-free as possible. I'm so extremely happy with how the photos came out. Can't recommend them enough!

I remember when my fiancé and I first sat down with Alex at coffee to chat about our wedding. We didn’t know what to expect, but right away he put us at ease and made us feel like we were his priority. The day of our wedding, how he went out of his way to capture all of the little details I had scrutinized over and reminded me to enjoy the moment. Now two years later we still get compliments on our wedding photos and I couldn’t be happier with the pictures he took of our families!

Alex is extremely professional and laid back. He is a joy to work with before durring and after the event. His assistance that we had, my wife loved having her with her and the girls while they were getting ready. Alex works magic with the photos. We have received many compliments on our photos. We originally scheduled with another photographer, but since she was not able to stay for the ceremony and reception (she was scheduled to deliver two days later) she personally hand selected two talented photographers to document our big night; Alex Fotografie was one of them. After reviewing his portfolio we understood why our photographer recommended Alex. He staged some amazing photos that made us look and feel like our natural selves. Our post ceremony photos are stunning and we still get compliments today on them! And we were equally impressed with the reception photos; we were given hundreds of photos that documented the event and emotions of our special day. We love looking through our pictures and seeing the faces of every single one of our guests. As for the big day, we wanted our pictures to be primarily candid, yet clean and professional. Also, we needed to stick to a strict timeline in order to still have light following our November evening wedding ceremony. Did I forget to mention we did not want to have “first look” photographs and requested to be back for the end of happy hour? We’re the absolute worst. Our photographers, including Alex, fulfilled all our requests and delivered breathtaking photos.

We waited 14 years to get married so this was a very special day for us. Alex was excellent. The photo were very high quality and looked amazing. We will definitely be having him photograph our family events and grandchild in the future. We highly recommend him for any of your events.
